We're happy to show you the final song we recorded during the Trypoul Sessions: A cover of La Roux's 'Bulletproof'. The idea of covering this song has been on our minds for quite some time, so this recording session was a perfect opportunity. We wanted to challenge ourselves to create a fresh but honorable take on the original song, making sure we wouldn't be creating a bad ripoff of the track but a version of the song that would stand on its own. With quite a lot of changes in the chord progression, instrumentation and vocal twists we ended up recording this version.
The video features a lot of 'behind the scenes'-footage of the 2 recording days in Trypoul, showcasing some outtakes, listening to the recordings in the control room, lunch, and us messing around. We hope you like our cover!
